I interrogated Medrau again. She was very forthcoming, even while she tried her best to give me a panic attack.

Heartless should not be allowed to think and connive like humans. It's just a bad, bad mix.

But ask away. Hopefully I got everything we'd want to know about her universal suicide plan. If not, she'll probably oblige me if I have to go back. I'm fairly sure she knows that being so cooperative only serves to freak me the fuck out.

No, but that doesn't make them less amusing.
I want to see how they copied the Dreaming and my magic without making it too obvious. I mean, come on. Dream Drop Distance, Sleeping Worlds... it's obvious where the inspiration came from. I hear you can create creatures out of "dream pieces", or some such.

Okay. Serious business. Yes...

Medrau says that summoning the First was part of her plan as our enemy, but that she realized she was doomed to fail, even if she did manage to get him involved. I guess if I'm genre savvy, she has to be too.
So now she thinks she can defy her fate by carrying out her plan and then siding with us to destroy him. Or scatter him, more accurately. She says he can be dispersed so that he's no longer a conscious entity, or at least so that it takes him a very long time to pull his mind back together. Something like that. Basically the closest we can come to actually killing him.

I'm not gonna share my various opinions on all this just yet.

From what I've seen it's not very similar to your magic. Aside from dreams being involved that is. Unless there is a very strange reveal right at the end, at least.

She seemed pretty confident about it. She said she needed access to that stone you took, and the Cornerstone of Darkness.

Did we know there was a Cornerstone of Darkness?

That might be a problem. As far as I know it's been brought to Yen Sid. He'll be unlikely to go along with this plan. If we even decide to try it.

Medrau has informed me that the stone Seph took from her is not necessary. It would just make things easier. The important bit is the Cornerstone of Darkness, which we re apparently supposed to blow up after attaching the First Darkness to it or some such.

It's not so much disapprove as... I don't think he'd want me to risk Medrau interfering somehow.

I was toying with the idea of sneakily trying to help him with some nightmares but, I don't feel comfortable doing something like that without asking.
