So... I've been thinking. for various reasons...

It might be a good idea for someone else to learn the dream spell and... once I'm not busy I'm thinking maybe I'd like to give it a try.

Been kind of considering it for a long time but, decided to try being unique instead... and... bubbles... yeah.

So... How about it?

I will try to resist the urge to try to make dream bubbles.

I am completely cool with this.

I always make the most progress on refining the spell when I'm teaching it.

And... actually, dream bubbles might help me figure out how the fourth tier's going to work. I have big plans for that.

Okay. It'll be a bit until we can start though. Not really sure how long.

I'm not even sure what I'd end up with. A bubble full of dream-like space? A bubble that casts the dream spell on anyone that enters? Just a protective bubble for the dreamers? All three? Something completely different? So many possibilities.

The first is what I have in mind. I have no idea how long it would take for this would be realistically possible, but if I ever manage that fourth level of the Dream spell, it will have to have an effect along the lines of bringing dreamspace into a pocket of reality, probably surrounding the caster. Anything within that space could be changed at will as it is in a dream dive.

But that's pretty damn advanced transformation magic. I don't expect to have it done in a year or anything.

Hmm... There is a possibility Bubble will actually be helpful. Have you experimented at all with combining spells? I don't seem to remember at the moment if you mentioned doing so...

I wonder what would happen if I combined the dream spell with Bubble without trying to control the exact outcome... Thunder had an interesting effect when I did that... of course I ended up inside it... Not pleasant.

Learn Dream spell first, then think about experimenting with it. Ehehe ^_^;;

Mixing spells is always fun... and can be dangerous. Seph is occasionally astonished that I haven't blown myself up yet. Which is one reason I usually end up using Bubble as a base. It is a very stable spell and doesn't really react badly with anything I've tried.
