"So, um...long time no see?"
[Amy smiles faintly, waving at the screen]
"We've actually been home since late Saturday night, but resting. Worn out you know. There was a Darkness-filled dragon, magic being flung around, Song getting impaled in the shoulder by a six foot sword...but we're good now. Mabry took brilliant care of Song and she's good now. I about had a fit at Seph, though. I mean, I know he didn't want to and he was only trying to stop Medrau, but damn it, did it have to be her right side? At least I know Cure. Not that it did much, but it stopped the bleeding until we got back."
[Amy yawns a little, shaking her head]
"Sorry. I'm still kinda...I dunno. I had Awiergan's help at some points, but for a while there I had to hold Barrier on my own longer than I thought I could. I feel like I did when I first started learning. Oh!"
[Suddenly she brightens]
"We got the stone! Well, Seph's got it. I vote we give it to Yen Sid and let him hide it. Oh, and did I mention I got to deal with the dragon on my own? It was terrifyingly awesome...okay, mostly just terrifying. Barrier was a good shield for that initially, but I did get kinda scorched."
[She reaches off screen and pulls something into her lap, then holds up a greyish-purple coat. The right sleeve is burned away in spots between the wrist cuff and shoulder. Amy makes a face before speaking again]
"The suede coat Gran bought me a couple years ago. I really should've worn something else, but how was I supposed to know what was hiding up there? Um, what else. Oh! Ray. I need another bracelet."
[Amy holds up her right wrist to demonstrate that her's is still intact. Ray should be able to guess who the other one's for then.]
"Kay, I oughta go-" [Another yawn] "take a nap. Just a little one. And Seph, Jale's been pissed all week about the dragon, I explained why you had to-" [She yawns so big this time that she actually lets herself flop backwards onto the floor. After a few seconds her voice drifts up]
"He won't bite or anything, but expect some glares 'til he gets over it. Shouldn't take long, I'll distract him."
[This is followed by a soft giggle, and Amy pushes herself back up to close the lid.]
